However, a prevalent misconception is that massage provided by blind therapists is of low quality or unhygienic. Furthermore, therapists often face the risk of sexual harassment or even physical assault from intoxicated clients. For over a decade, BlindLink has been working within the blind community, providing vocational training to empower them as professional massage therapists. Our goal is to enable them to offer high-standard massage services to discerning, high-income clients, ensuring they are treated with the respect they deserve.
